Statistical Methodology

1. The Multiplier (Pulse)

We compare the volume of the last 3 days (Short Term) against the average of the last 30 days. This makes the data highly reactive to immediate news.
Formula: 3_Day_Avg / 30_Day_Avg Interpretation: "2.0x" means interest is currently double the monthly norm.

2. Hot Now (Heat Score)

Our default ranking logic. We penalize stocks that have high volume but are "crashing" (negative trend). Formula: Multiplier * (1 + Trend%) Goal: Show stocks that are both high volume AND rising.

3. Momentum (Trend)

Measures the speed and direction of interest growth over the last 5 days. Formula: Linear Regression Slope (Last 5 Days) Interpretation: Positive values mean interest is accelerating daily.

4. Quarterly Breakout (3M High)

We check if current traffic is hitting the 90-day maximum (within 2% margin). If yes, it's flagged as a "New High", indicating a potential breakout event vs just noise.
